Priest rapes girl then threatens to murder her

Belthangady: A young woman has lodged a complaint with the Uppinangady police alleging that Jose Kichankeri, a parish priest in the Belthangady Bishop House had raped her after promising to marry her. The complainant has said that the priest has even threatened to kill her if she made the matter public.

It is learnt, the priest had been to the residence of the young woman at Enjira village on April 28 along with two sisters. But the sisters were sent back very soon. Despite the request of the young woman to the priest to leave the place, the priest stayed back and then reportedly developed physical relationship with her after promising to marry.

But, when there was no hint of the priest keeping up his words, the young woman intimated the Bishop House authorities. It is learnt, the Bishop had assured to get the woman married and had sought some time. But within a few days, the priest had once again come to her house and again raped her.

Georgian Pastor arrested for molesting four girls

Steven Rowe is accused of molesting 4 kids at a Douglas church and school; parents are asked to talk to daughters who might have had contact with him.

A former Coffee County pastor has been arrested and charged with four counts of child molestation and two counts of aggravated child molestation.

Investigators said Steven Rowe, 50, was pastor at First Community Church and headmaster at Faith Christian Academy in Douglas from 2002 until 2008. He is accused of molesting at least four children from 2005 to 2008, said Guy Wolfe, a Coffee County Sheriff's Office detective.

Rowe was questioned Friday after Wolfe said a complaint was filed with the Department of Family and Children Services. Rowe was held after questioning and charged Saturday. He remains in the Coffee County Jail after bail was denied.

Wolfe said the investigation is ongoing and he can't release many details, but he did say the victims were females. Investigators are asking parents to talk with their children if they were between the ages of 12 and 15 and attended the church or school while Rowe worked there.

"There's potentially other victims out there, so it's really sensitive," Wolfe said.

The church's interim pastor and headmaster at the academy, Ben Warren, said Rowe's arrest was briefly mentioned during Sunday's church services but the issue was not discussed in detail until parents gathered at the church Tuesday night.

"I've known Pastor Rowe for years. It's a shock to everybody," Warren said. "We tend to elevate the pastor. It's a major breach of trust."

Warren said parents were united in their support of the church and academy. He said Rowe's involvement with the church and academy had diminished the past 14 months because he was working at another school in Brunswick. Wolfe identified the school as Paxen Learning Corp.

Richard Semancik, executive vice president at Paxen, said Rowe is no longer an employee because of his arrest. Both Wolfe and Semancik said they don't believe Rowe had inappropriate contact with students at the center because they are all at least 16 years old, which is the age of consent in Georgia.

Warren said the issue will also be discussed with the 75 students enrolled at the academy.

"Most of our students did not know him that well," Warren said. "We're going to do some teaching with our girls and boys on how to react when something inappropriate happens."

Baptist Pastor arrested for sexually abusing seventeen year old girl

Prince William County police have arrested a former youth pastor on charges that he carried on a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl in his church group.

Jason Bolton, 32, of Dumfries, began a close friendship with the girl in September 2007, police said. By early 2010, the relationship had become romantic.

Bolton, a married man with two sons and a daughter, began as a youth pastor at Potomac Crest Baptist Church in 2007. He resigned in May after the sexual allegations came to light.

In a first person profile on the church's Web site, Bolton says he was called by Jesus Christ to serve at the church after ministering to students at the University of Delaware, where he studied art in the late 1990s.

“I am not perfect and I make mistakes every day,” Bolton says in the profile that has since been removed. “My hope is that through my life I can help show youth that Jesus Loves them and that He wants them so much that He died for them.”

Bolton was being held on a $3,000 secured bond on a charge of sodomy. A court date has not been set, officials said.

Canadian Pastor arrested for indecent act towards woman

The senior pastor at a large Pentecostal church in St. John's did not know until this week that one of his pastors is facing a sex-related charge.

Pastor Geoffrey Whitt, who is assigned to Bethesda Pentecostal Church in the east end of St. John's, was charged in December with committing an indecent act.

Whitt has been the church's children's pastor since 2002, and also runs a music camp for children.

His lawyer, Jeff Brace, told CBC News that the charge does not involve children, and that the complainant is an adult woman who told police that Whitt had exposed himself.

The senior pastor at the church, Brian Brown, did not know about the charge until he was contacted by CBC News on Tuesday.

Brown said he was shaken and taken aback by the revelation, but said he could not comment further until he learned more about the details, and about how the church's leadership wishes to respond.

Whitt is employed by the Pentecostal Assemblies of Newfoundland and Labrador, which is now reviewing the case.

Whitt is scheduled to next appear in provincial court in St. John's in April.

Detroit Pastor charged for sexually assaulting thirteen year old girl

Man these stories never get old.

Detroit -- A pastor was arraigned today in 36th District Court on multiple charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenaged member of his church.

Timothy Jackson, 46, faces six counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct for his alleged activities with a 13-year-old girl.

The alleged incidents occurred between 2009 and 2010 at Abundant Life Church, 437 Livernois in southwest Detroit, according to a statement issued today by Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy.

Jackson was pastor of the church at the time of the alleged assaults.

There was a fire at the church Aug. 6 that is believed to be suspicious and possibly linked to the alleged assaults, Detroit police said.

P.M.NEWS gathered that the woman’s husband, also a pastor in another church sent his wife to Pastor Nna’s church to collect a bag from him.

British Pastor on trial for sex attack on a young girl

A CARMARTHENSHIRE pastor accused of indecently assaulting a young girl will stand trial in October.
David Protheroe Morris, of Llety Fforddolion, in Llanpumsaint, had his plea and case management hearing heard in Welsh yesterday when he appeared at Cardiff Crown Court.

The 60-year-old, who is a pastor at the local evangelical church, denies the charge.

At an earlier hearing in April before Carmarthen magistrates, prosecutor Geoffrey Thomas told the court the allegations had only recently been made.

He said the alleged offence happened when the victim, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was at Morris's home.

Yesterday, Judge Philip Richards conducted the entire hearing in Welsh, save to speak to a court listings officer to request availability for a trial date in October.

Both the prosecuting and defence barristers also spoke in Welsh, while a Welsh-speaking court clerk sat in on the case.

Morris was granted bail on condition he does not contact prosecution witnesses directly or indirectly, or have contact with children aged under 16.

He will stand trial at Swansea Crown Court on October 4.

Catholic Priest impregnantes teen girl

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - A couple secretly videotaped a Roman Catholic priest having sex with their 18-year-old daughter in the basement of their home and are now suing, saying he got her pregnant.

The lawsuit, filed Thursday, alleges that the Rev. Luis A. Bonilla Margarito carried on a sexual relationship with the teen while he was the chaplain of Reading Central Catholic High School and she was a senior there.

The girl's parents became suspicious and installed a camera in their basement, where Bonilla and the teen were spending large amounts of time. The camera recorded the couple having sex in Nov. 2009, after she had graduated, according to the suit.

Bonilla and the teen are now evidently living with each other.

On Friday, an Associated Press reporter knocked on the door of the apartment where Bonilla now lives. A woman answered, and she identified herself as the teen named in the lawsuit filed by her parents. She declined to comment, and would not get Bonilla to come to the door.

But David Weldon, a maintenance man at the apartment complex, said the couple moved in together two or three months ago, and that she had the baby about six weeks ago.

Bonilla was removed from his dual posts as chaplain and pastor of St. Joseph Church in Reading after her parents took the sex tape to the Diocese of Allentown. He acknowledged at the time an "inappropriate relationship" with the teen, according to a diocesan news release from last November.

Bonilla was sent to a treatment facility, but "continued to have intimate contact with (the teen) during this time period and ultimately impregnated her," the suit said. She gave birth to a girl.

Bonilla, 41, left the treatment facility at some point and moved into the two-story complex of brick garden apartments in Philadelphia suburb.

"He has no assignment and he has not functioned as a priest since November," diocesan spokesman Matt Kerr said Friday.

The Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, a support group for victims of clergy abuse, released a statement Friday calling on the Allentown diocese to find out whether Bonilla had an inappropriate relationship with anyone else.

"History, research and experience has taught us that predators rarely have only one victim. We fear others who have been hurt are trapped in silence and self blame," said Barbara Dorris, SNAP's outreach director.

Bonilla was named the chaplain of Central Catholic in 2008 and befriended the teen, then 17, at the beginning of her senior year. Bonilla "began to groom (the teen) for a sexual relationship," the suit said, knowing that she suffered from mental health issues, was previously sexually abused by an adult man, and was "susceptible to being manipulated."

Her parents began to suspect a relationship and reported their concerns to administrators at Central Catholic, "but were told their suspicions were unfounded and that nothing could be done to separate (the teen) and Father Bonilla because he was her spiritual advisor and/or counsellor," according to the suit.

Bonilla also took steps to alienate the teen from her parents, telling her that she was 18 and no longer had to obey them, the suit said.

The suit charged that diocesan officials knew about the relationship but were "so concerned about their own reputation and/or financial interests, that they failed to protect (the teen) from Father Bonilla."

The parents say they are alienated from their daughter as a result of her relationship with Bonilla, and are seeking punitive damages for breach of fiduciary duty, infliction of emotional distress and gross negligence. The suit names as defendants Bonilla, the diocese, the high school, Allentown Bishop John Barres, and former Bishop Edward Cullen.

Pastor rapes 9 year old girl

A former pastor at the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Renewal Movement, David Nwaneri, 38, has been arrested by the police and charged to court for allegedly defiling a nine-year old girl.

The accused, who claimed that his wife recently delivered a baby, was caught in his house located at 35, Akogun Street, Ejigbo, Lagos, Nigeria, using his fingers on the private part of the victim and in the process broke her hymen.

The eldest sister of the victim alleged that she saw him carrying the victim on his lap.

The prosecutor also alleged that he forced his victim to rob his penis to satisfy his sexual desire.

In her statement to the police, the victim disclosed that the pastor invited her into his room at about 7 p.m. on the fateful day and started putting his fingers into her private part.

Her elder sister alleged that blood was coming out of her private part when she saw her and this made her to report the matter to her mother who raised an alarm that attracted neigbours.

The matter was reported at the Ejigbo police station and the pastor was arrested and charged before the Ejigbo Magistrate’s Court for defilement.

In his statement to the police, the pastor allegedly admitted putting his fingers into her private part but did not have sex with her.

He begged the family for an out of court settlement but the police rejected his plea.

The presiding magistrate, Mrs. M.B. Folami, asked the mother of the victim, Mrs. Gladis Ulebe, if she was still interested in prosecuting the case and the woma tendered a letter to withdraw the matter.

Christian man marries 10 year old girl

And yet again, the sorry media tries to cover up scandals commited by Christians. Using words such as "Self-proclaimed christians" or in this case it is claimed it wasn't known if he had religious training. Oh well it is yet again Christianity at it's finest.

The arrangement, investigators believe, lasted for almost nine years until the young woman walked into the Mound Police Department in January and bore witness against her uncle.

The niece told investigators that Fall maintained the relationship through coercion, threatening to kick her and her two brothers out of the house if she didn't go along.

In recent years police were called to the home to talk with Fall's wife and the niece about alleged abuse, but both denied it, according to police reports.

"He really believes that this is OK," Mound Police Chief James Kurtz said. "I don't know how long he's believed that."

'A firm set of beliefs'

James Fall has been in the Hennepin County jail for weeks awaiting trial.

He is scheduled to be in Hennepin County District Court later this month as part of a custody hearing involving a 16-year-old nephew living at his home who was taken away by the county after the sexual abuse allegations surfaced.David Risk, Fall's lawyer, said he will ask the court to conduct a mental health evaluation on Fall to see how competent his client might be.

Fall's punishment, Risk said, might ultimately hinge on his religious beliefs.

"From a religious perspective this is very unusual," said Risk, who does not expect to use polygamy or religious freedom as a defense. "We need to explore his mental health. Mr. Fall has a firm set of beliefs. That is something we will have to look at. Some of his beliefs are outside the norm and would cause someone to question his competency."

Now notice up here there is a clear cover up for Christianity. Quite obvious this is an evangelical lawyer hired. All enough to give this article another label. Can you guess what it is?

Wittke and other Mound police officers said Fall knew what he was doing and had ready arguments about what he did and how he lived.

Investigators have not been able to determine whether Fall, who calls himself a Christian, has any formal religious training. Wittke said she was told that Fall's father was a minister at a church in Minneapolis decades ago.

Wittke said no one who knows Fall has come forward to say he needs medication or hears voices or somehow is not in control of his actions.

"He was very calm ... very open to talking about it," Wittke said. "He did not hold anything back. I think that when this all got started he searched the Bible looking for scriptures to tell him that it was all OK."
Other facets of the case

Police also are investigating possible fraud, a murder allegation and just how the victim and her two siblings came to live in the Fall home after the death of their father.

Following Fall's arrest, family members contacted the Anoka County Sheriff's Department to have investigators look at whether James Fall might have killed his brother-in-law, Phillip Johnson, possibly by poisoning him 10 years ago.

"We reviewed it," said Lt. Paul Sommer. "We talked to the medical examiner's office and everything was done ... the coroner said [Johnson] died of a heart attack."

The question of how the children ended up in the home after Johnson's death has yet to be answered.

"We cannot confirm he has any legal status with the children," Kurtz said. "We can't find any legal documents that he has legal guardianship."

That has spurred allegations that the Falls were taking monthly Social Security checks from the children and using that money to live on.

Police said they also are checking computers in the home for child pornography. Wittke said that Fall showed the victim pornography that usually depicted younger girls and older men.

As far as police can tell, there appear to be no other victims in the case. But a final ruling on that probably won't be made until after the computers are analyzed and the investigation is completed.

"It's a strange case," Kurtz said. "I've never encountered one like this before."

Pastor brutally assaults woman

A GWANDA woman escaped death by a whisker when she was brutally assaulted by a pastor during a cleansing ceremony.
A pastor from Zion Church of Christ (ZCC), John Gochani (65) of Betsa area pleaded not guilty to assault, but was convicted by Gwanda resident magistrate Mr Takudzwa Gwazemba.
He was sentenced to 105 hours of community service at Betsa Primary School.
In his defence Gochani told the court that it was their church’s belief to assault patients when driving away evil spirits.
When he was asked whether the evil spirits had gone, he said they had not, but were going to be driven away after another assault if she had not reported the matter to the police.
The prosecutor, Mr Mazwi Goto, told the court that on 10 February, the complainant, Mrs Gugu Nzima (45) went to Betsa ZCC congregation where she was referred to by a pastor from Garanyemba.
She was sent there for a prayer session since she was not feeling well.
Upon arrival Gochani asked the complainant why she was there and she said her pastor had referred her to the congregation.
She then handed him a letter from the pastor.
Gochani then ordered a female church elder to take the complainant to a place where the prayer session was to be conducted.
On arrival she was told to take off her clothes except for the bra and panties.
Gochani later came and started assaulting Mrs Nzima with a switch and she sustained serious injuries as a result.
The matter was later reported to the police, leading to his arrest.

Longtime Church member raped teen girl

For some reason, whatever Christians do is: 1) All the time in agreement with the holy spirit, and 2) All the time in agreement with the bible.

CONCORD, N.H. — Tina Anderson was a scared 15-year-old when she was summoned by church leaders to stand before her congregation and apologize for getting pregnant out of wedlock.

Just minutes earlier in that evening service in 1997, a longtime church member admitted publicly that he had been unfaithful to his wife.

Now, 13 years later, Ernie Willis is charged with raping Anderson, and police are investigating what church leaders knew about the assault and whether they shipped Anderson out of state to keep the matter quiet.

When the pastor heard Anderson's allegations, he told her that if she had "lived in the Old Testament," she would have been stoned to death for not reporting the attack sooner.

"He also said I had 'allowed myself to be put in a compromising situation,' Anderson said. The pastor decided she needed to be "church-disciplined."

"I was completely humiliated," Anderson said, her voice quavering at the memory. "I hoped it was a nightmare I'd wake up from, and it wouldn't be true anymore."

The Associated Press does not generally identify victims of sexual assault, but Anderson asked that her name be made public. Several witnesses to the church service involving Willis and Anderson recounted details to The Associated Press.

Willis, 51, of Guilford, will be arraigned June 16 on sexual assault charges. He was released on a $100,000 personal-recognizance bond after his arrest last week. A message left on a cell phone linked to him was not returned. A woman who answered the phone at a number listed to him said he no longer lived there. Court documents do not list an attorney.

Concord police also are weighing whether to bring obstruction-of-justice charges against anyone who may have concealed the girl's location during the initial investigation, which authorities say they were forced to shelve when there was no victim to testify.

After all these years, Anderson decided to come forward after she was contacted by a Concord police detective in February.

She told police she started baby-sitting for Ernie and Tammie Willis' children when she was 14. When she was 15, Willis volunteered to teach her to drive after her mother refused to do so.

During one of those driving sessions, she says, Willis pulled her into the back seat in a parking lot and assaulted her. The second attack occurred weeks later, when she said Willis came to her house, pushed her onto a couch and raped her again.

Anderson said she realized several months later that she was pregnant, and her mother took her to the pastor at Trinity Baptist Church for counseling.

This week, Pastor Chuck Phelps said he reported the accusation to police and child welfare authorities within a day of his conversation with Anderson and her mother. He would not discuss the church discipline session or his role in relocating her to Colorado to live with a family of another independent fundamentalist Baptist congregation.

Police refused to release any reports, citing the ongoing investigation.

Oh so they even further punish the girl by sending her to another fundamental Church?

Pastor jailed for sexually assaulting two girls

A self-styled pastor now serving five years in prison for the sexual assault of a 10-year-old girl was sentenced Monday to an additional nine months for abusing another girl.

Daniel Cormier, 58, was convicted of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl who was a parishioner and volunteer at the now defunct Église du Centre-Ville (Church of Downtown Montreal) — a church which catered to the drug-addicted and downtrodden.

Cormier will serve the sentence after completing the five year term he received in January 2009 for the sexual assault of a 10-year-old girl he claimed he had married.

Both girls turned to Cormier’s church when they were having problems at home.

Cormier became a sort of parental figure in the lives of the girls and frequently stayed and vacationed with him, said members of the church.

The teenage girl viewed Cormier as a sort of “guru,” said Crown prosecutor Anne Gauvin.

Cormier’s actions were persistant and planned exploitation, noted Quebec Court judge Claude Leblond in his sentencing.

Cormier did not express any remorse in either case and did not testify Monday.

The sexual assaults occurred sporadically between 1993 and 1996. In the first case, which pre-dated the assaults on the 16-year-old, Cormier insisted he was innocent and his 10-year-old victim was in love with him

Women sue Pastor for raping them

This article is actually a few years old. We don't put up old articles often, but the abuse of women in Christianity needs attention (by the way, you can find hundreds of them).

Four women who claim they were sexually assaulted by their pastor are suing Christian Gospel Temple in Cross Plains, Tennessee for allowing the assaults to continue.

Lynette Fay, now 26, says that Reverend Paul Mears "basically raped me on a daily basis" when she was between the ages of 4 and 12. She believes that church leader Cornelius Mears, the brother of her alleged assailant, knew and did nothing to stop it.

Crystal Mears, says that Paul Mears, who is her grandfather, raped her when she was eight and told her, "God will condemn your soul if you ever speak a word of this to anyone."
The women charge that the temple is a cult which controls the smallest details of its members' lives. It was originally located in Chino, California, but in 1993 Cornelius Mears told the congregation they were moving to Tennessee, and hundreds of his followers gave up their jobs and followed him.

The current pastor has released a statement saying, "We believe the allegations against the Christian Gospel Temple are not correct or true."

I'd like to know where the article found the word "cult" from the ladies? Most likely other versions of this storey didn't include "cult".

Sexually enslaved for 25 years

Many call the ministry a "cult", but that's because they are a violent bunch. If this was Islam, Christians would be glad.

The authors portray this is anti Christian yet they wouldn't give a damn if this was by Muslims.

Evangelist convicted for killing wife, storing her body in freezer and sexually abusing teens

MOBILE, Ala. - An Alabama evangelist preacher and former paratrooper was convicted Friday of murdering his wife and storing her body in a freezer for four years.

After deliberating for 1½ hours, a jury in Mobile also found 39-year-old Anthony Hopkins guilty of rape, sodomy, incest and sexual abuse of a child between the ages of 12 and 16.

Hopkins was arrested in 2008 while preaching at a rural revival on charges that he killed 36-year-old Arletha Hopkins, a mother of eight.

He showed no reaction on Friday as deputies handcuffed him and led him from the court.

Children who grew up in his home and who had testified against him stood in the front row and hugged each other and cried as the verdict was read.

"There is nothing pleasing about any of this, it is all very disturbing," Ashley Rich, the prosecuting attorney said. "A number of children have been harmed and the chances of them fully recovering are slim."

Authorities said a teenage relative who Hopkins had abused and impregnated led police to the body of his wife in 2008.

Investigators say Hopkins killed his wife in a violent fight in 2004 after she caught him having sex with the teenager. They said he then stuffed the wife's body into a freezer at the home he shared with her, the couple's six children and two of her children from a previous relationship.

In closing arguments Friday, Assistant District Attorney Jill Phillips said Hopkins terrorized his wife and young children, isolated them and used the Bible to manipulate them.

"He was the supreme commander of his own little army," Phillips said.

Hopkins told jurors Friday that he came home on a December evening in 2004 and found his wife dead on the floor, with the youngest of her eight children, an infant, beside her.

"I was shocked and I began to shake her, and I was like 'Letha, Letha are you alright?' I began to shake her, tilt her head back and do CPR," Hopkins testified.

Hopkins served in the U.S. Army in Kazakhstan in the late 1990s and earned a medal for his service. He was arrested in 1998 for being absent without leave from the Army in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, from June 15, 1995, until April 6, 1998.

He testified Friday that he decided to leave the Army after he got orders to serve in Korea and could not take his family with him.

Pastor beats girl who reported sexual abuse

A former Elgin pastor found guilty Wednesday of spanking a girl with a piece of wood in his office admitted he wasn’t prepared for the task of counseling a child who claimed to have been sexually abused.

“The situation was over my head,” said Rev. Daryl Bujak, who avoided jail time when he was sentenced to 12 months of supervision. “I didn’t have the ability to deal with the situation I confronted.”

Bujak was found guilty of two counts of battery for spanking the 12-year-old during counseling sessions in 2005 at First Missionary Baptist Church in Elgin. He was accused…

Pastor accused of sexual assault

This horrible news never stops. Remember the holy spirit guides ALL.

Head pastor of the Holy Fire Pentecostal Church at Goaso in the Brong Ahafo Region is under police investigations for sexually assaulting some women in his church.

Ogya Nyame, under the pretence of providing spiritual healing to his lady congregants, is said to have fondled their breasts and engaged in all kinds of sexual escapades with them to satisfy his libido.

Confirming the incident to Joy News, Nana Atta Poku, secretary to the Omanhene, said the pastor was invited to the traditional council to answer questions on the many sexual allegations made against him.

He said the horrifying stories told by the victims of the pastor’s alleged sexual acts informed their decision to draft in the police for further investigations.

In one of those stories, the wife of an elder of the church suffering from rashes on parts of her body including, her buttocks, was said to have sought spiritual fortification from the head pastor.

Ogya Nyame obliged and confined the victim to his house where the prayer was supposed to take place.

In the middle of the prayers, the pastor in his bid to “examine” the rashes allegedly removed his penis and attempted to penetrate the victim, Nana Poku narrated.

He said that appeared to be an attempted rape, which the council thought was criminal and decided to invite the police.

The Municipal Police Commander of the area Emmanuel Yirenkyi also confirmed the incident but said investigations were underway.

He also said the police are looking for some youth in the area who on a vandalized items in the church premises.

Meanwhile, the pastor has denied the allegations. He said they are intended to malign his integrity.

Pastor guilty of sexually assaulting/harassing 2 teen girls

Shane Garrett Horning, the 29-year-old former Santa Margarita Methodist Church youth pastor, was convicted today of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old female parishioner and sending sexual text messages to her 15-year-old female relative.

The San Jose resident pleaded guilty to four felony counts of oral copulation with a minor for his crimes against the then-16-year-old and one felony count of attempted oral copulation of a minor under 16 for the messages to the then-15-year-old.

Horning is expected to get a year in jail and five years probation at his Jan. 22 sentencing in Santa Ana.

While working at the Santa Margarita church, he had the 16-year-old come to his home several times between January 2005 and September 2006 to orally copulate him. He was 25 at the time. The girl did not report the sexual assault until this year, when Horning, who left the church in 2006 and moved to San Jose, sent explicit sexual text messages to the 15-year-old female, who is related to the first girl. Included were graphic statements about oral copulation. The 16-year-old informed her parents about the previous sex assault and the new text messages, and the authorities were called.

And at end of the article, there's a little something else:

Han, 21, of Fullerton, was convicted of having sex with a 15-year-old girl in the parking lot of Miracle Land Baptist Church in Cypress, where he was the youth pastor. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 24.

Campoverde, the 45-year-old pastor at Ministerio Cristo Vive church in Anaheim, was scheduled to have a pre-trial hearing today on various charges related this his allegedly having had improper contact with teen-age girls as young as 13. The cases stretch back to March 2004, and he met some of the girls through the church, prosecutors say.
